How to Use Breath Guard Buddy

Hold the button for 1 second to turn it on. When the backlight and display light up, the device will “beep” indicating it’s powered on.

The display will show “Warm Up” and a 10 second countdown will begin. When the countdown is over, there will be another “beep”.

When the display shows “Blow”, blow into the device for 4-6 seconds. A “beep” will indicate when the countdown is over.

If your test result is less than 0.02% BAC, the green indicator light will come on, meaning you are legally sober and cleared to drive.

If the test result is equal to or higher than 0.02% and lower than 0.05% BAC, the light will be yellow and a slower beep will sound. This indicates  you have been drinking, and to be very cautious.

If the test result is greater than or equal to 0.05% BAC, the red light will flash with a rapid beeping sound. Which indicates high alcohol levels, and it is not safe to drive.

The results will remain on the screen for 10 seconds.
